It seems that the mp3-feed keeps redirecting to the AAC-feed in iTunes. :(

I guess it is be cause the RSS has an entry like; http://podcasts.engadget.com/rss-aac.xml

Is it possible to get a clean mp3-feed that will work with iTunes?

TIA!

The XML above is stripped, it suppose to be;

< itunes:new-feed-url >http://podcasts.engadget.com/rss-aac.xml< /itunes:new-feed-url >

The PS3 part has one big mistake, the 360 is more capable of outputting 1080p, since the 360 graphic card is quite alot more powerfull than the PS3 graphics card.

In the podcast, you you guys said "this might be the longest podcast ever" like that's a bad thing. It's not! I loved this podcast. Lots of opinion and talk on the big recent news. That's why I download podcasts, I want to hear tons of opinion on news I read yesterday or things happening at the time. Not saying you guys haven't been doing it, but not to this extend.

Keep up the good work.

With ITunes the podcast is save in MPEG-4 Audio File format, instead of mp3 which is what I wanted. The result is that the podcast can't be played on my mp3 player.

I can download the mp3 file manually, but that's not ideal. How can I get ITunes to download the mp3 version? And what version am I getting, is it aac?

thanks.

I use a php script to strip the mp3 RSS-feed of the follow tag:
< itunes:new-feed-url >http://podcasts.engadget.com/rss-aac.xml< /itunes:new-feed-url >

The above tag is why the mp3-feed keeps redirectiong to the AAC feed in iTunes. :(

And now my iTunes downloads the mp3 again and I can transfer the Engadget Podcast to my ZVM again, yay! :D

Hey Fellas,

One thing I was noticing lately, being a father of 2 (only 17 months and 2 weeks, but still...) about video game consoles.

The new consoles are truly for older people. Sure, Wii is kinda cheap, but it is completely a new direction, not just the casual machine as you mention. Looking around there are SO MANY "game systems" for kids. Vtech, Leapfrog, etc all have games, kinda cartridge based, etc, but they all have pretty decent graphics, some of them look like PS1 to N64 level, and they are cheap. So, I'll always be a gamer, I own the 360, I'll own the PS3, and may get the Wii for fun party games down the line...the first thing I'll seriously get for my children will probably be from Leapfrog or VTech...These companies are now the new kids game systems. It will be interesting to see if game studios can somehow get onto these systems for other casual games and not just learning based games.
